Are You Tapped into Your Own Personal Power?

Are You Tapped into Your Own Personal Power?

Do you know just how strong you are? What about how strong you think you are? Well, we all have something unique about us, and our personal strength gives us the ability to tap into that and maintain our commitment to our values. We can use our personal power to stand firm in the face of all that life throws at us.

Most people are unaware of this potent power’s existence, much less how to use it. Here is how it can be done.

Personal Power Is All About Being Conscious and Aware

There are two parts to the mind, the conscious, and the unconscious. When we are aware, we think with our conscious mind. Random thoughts and ideas that we have throughout the day as well as the things we need to focus on. However, approximately 90% of our thoughts reside in the unconscious mind, which is another part of ourselves, and these thoughts are replayed to us like a tape.

Think about something simple you do, like cleaning the house or taking a shower. When performing those routine tasks, you always know what to do because you’ve done them frequently enough for them to become second nature.

The subconscious mind holds our routines, our daily habits, and our internal belief systems. We spend more time on autopilot than we think, and it’s often because we don’t let our conscious mind take control.

One of the best ways to get our personal power is to be more aware of our thoughts and actions. We can’t be 100% aware all the time, but whenever we find ourselves repeating an action, we can take a look at that action and try to understand why we are doing it.

The greatest way for our brains to accomplish this is through meditation, which enables us to remain still and access our subconscious minds, enabling us to take control of a situation rather than simply succumb to our ingrained habits.

Looking At Personal Power

For example, what do you do whenever you need to make a hard choice?

Do you dawdle at the starting line, thinking about all the other hard choices you made before without getting any results?

Do you feel guilty, angry, or frustrated about all the prior decisions you made that lead to failure?

That’s your subconscious mind playing tricks on you by bringing up old memories. However, the following actions will help you tackle these difficult decisions with personal authority.

Ask yourself one question to help you make a decision: Will this choice help me attain my goals? If the answer is affirmative, proceed accordingly. Use your personal power to make the proper decision and then watch what happens to you as a result. You can go deeply into something with personal strength and then see what can be done with it.

Gaining A New Perspective

Awareness of your own power has several advantages, one of which is the fresh outlook it provides on life. You can see how you used to act out of habit or out of fear, and you can look at those actions with newfound compassion.

You can then start using your own power to improve your life and the lives of others once that power has spread and begun to affect all other aspects of your life.

Do you completely comprehend your power? We all have something special about ourselves, and our personal strength gives us the ability to draw on that and maintain our commitment to our values. We can withstand all life throws at us if we use our own strength to support us.

It is tremendously powerful, but most people have no idea it exists, much less how to use it. Here is how it can be done, though.
